We have been beavering away for the last few months making Arbor Green one of the most eco friendly nurseries in Edinburgh.

 

We believe that children should be learning about the environment and the impact we have on it from an early age.

 

The children and parents have all been helping. We have had great success in the Eco garden with our vegetables and we are also increasing our recycling. A plastic bag here, an empty box there - it all adds up!

 

We are now proud holders of (drum roll!) an Eco-Schools Scotland Silver Award

 

We are well on our way to achieving our 1st Green Flag and aim to be one of the few nurseries in Edinburgh to hold one of these permanently.
