Creative Development
The main focus remains on learning through creativity and play, using holistic and natural materials to bring home an appreciation of the environment and bringing children into regular contact with trees, plants, animals, sand, soil, rocks and water. We also teach and emphasise the value of care and concern for others, respect for cultural diversity and for ourselves.
Anyone who knows children knows they require constant stimulation to keep them occupied and help them learn. Our programme includes gardening, cookery and dancing. Children learn best by experience, so there are trips and days out too usually linked to a specific topic. Outings may include visits to local parks, the zoo, museums and the library.
