Today’s Eco School was a fantastic and educational experience. The children learned about sharks and plastic pollution in the ocean through engaging activities.
They participated in a trash tray activity, cleaning water from litter and unwrapping tangled plastic sharks, which highlighted the impact of plastic waste on marine life.
In the park, children measured shark lengths with yarn, discovering how huge the Megalodon and great white sharks were—amazing and mesmerizing for the kids.
The day ended with a picnic and the exciting opportunity for children to touch real shark eggs, making the day both fun and informative.
I am learning that we should keep the oceans clean and reduce plastic waste.
