Happy September

Happy September 🍁🔥🍂🧡 We are beginning to explore the season of Autumn. This morning we set up an Autumn themed tray with different books about the season, orange paper and felt, a pumpkin, orange playdough and orange leaves which have fallen from our tree in the garden, to introduce the new season.. . While exploring the tray, some children asked a few questions such as “why are the leaves orange?” and “what’s the fire for?” So I began explaining some of the changes that take place as the seasons change from Summer to Autumn.
