Today in arbor green we are exploring the celebration of “Dia de lots Muertos” or how we call it in Spain “Dia de todos lots santos”. In the morning we explore a little bit about this tradition, their flowers and their music. We learnt about different traditions and how each country celebrate them differently. We got the opportunity of smell some incense and explore different senses. In this important day for some cultures a very incredible insects migration happens, The monarch butterfly arrives to Mexico from their long journey from Canada where thousands of butterflies will cover the Mexican forests, marking their migration as a very important event for “dia de los Muertos”. In the afternoon we enjoyed some disco party and some face painting.
