This morning, we enjoyed a beautiful autumn morning. We prepared a magical potion-making tray, filled with colorful leaves, aromatic herbs, spices, and fresh fruit slices. The children eagerly explored the tray, mixing and stirring their ingredients with spoons, creating their own enchanted potions. They were amazed by the delightful aroma that filled the air as they combined cinnamon, nutmeg, and mint with lemon slices, orange peels, and apple peels. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to engage their senses, experiment with different scents, and immerse themselves in the magic of autumn.

What did we learn?

1. I am developing my sensory awareness and learning how different scents and ingredients can combine to create new, delightful smells.

2. I am also using my creativity and imagination as I experiment with mixing and stirring ingredients to make my own magical potion.

3. I am gaining a better understanding about herbs, spices, and fruits, and how they can be used in fun and engaging ways.
