The children within the baby room have been learning about transport and vehicles and it has proved so popular we have continued this theme for the last couple of weeks.
We have looked at a variety of transport modes including cars, bicycles, prams and trains just to name a few. Richie came down with his car and the children went out to see it with Richie naming the parts of the vehicle and allowing the children to look and feel them including the wheels, doors, windows and wing mirrors.
We have also been taking the children into the fairy garden to look out for different vehicles which come past the nursery. We talk about the mode of transport, its colour, how many different types of transport come past and the noises they make.
The children have been very taken by all the different modes of transport and have even been singing songs about them.
