The children have been busy helping John plant fruits and vegetables to make this season spring to life in the garden!
They've been planting a variety of beans, peas, salad greens & herbs, apple seeds, tomatoes, pumpkin & squash, sunflowers, courgette’s, potatoes, turnips and cucumbers.
The children have been monitoring their growth, watering them and learning the fruit and vegetables origins along with using a variety of garden tools to help with gross and fine motor skills.
The children have a wonderful time planting the garden but love being able to pick the fruits of their labour and make a delicious snack like potato scones with fresh mint tea.
