Today at the Eco School, we had a wonderful and inspiring session centered around the "Pocket Garden" competition. We asked the children to imagine and describe their ideal small garden that benefits both pollinators and humans. To help them visualize, we invited them to close their eyes and share their visions. They excitedly described a garden filled with vegetables and fruits like broccoli, carrots, potatoes, lettuce, strawberries, and even an apple tree.

To make the experience more tangible, Leon crafted special eco-friendly paintbrushes from bamboo sticks, bamboo leaves, and hay. The children were thrilled to try these sustainable brushes, which added an extra layer of fun and eco-awareness to their creative process. They painted their imagined gardens, and this time, the focus was more on enjoyment rather than precision.

Later, we provided colorful pens, and the children created beautiful, realistic pictures of their favorite fruits and vegetables. The session ended with a lively game called “Rainbow, Rainbow, Rainbow, I see something…” where everyone took turns naming colors. This game encouraged them to observe their surroundings carefully and appreciate the vibrant world around them.

It was a joyful, creative, and mindful day that fostered both imagination and environmental awareness among the children.
